New Castle County

Accounting Clerk

·         Full-Time

·         Finance Department

·         AS/AA. in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required, BS/BA preferred OR equivalent work experience

·         Minimum of 2 years related experience including computer and/or business management experience required.

·         Funding Source: Indirect

 

CCP Liaison

·         Full-Time

·         Work hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am-3pm; Tuesday and Thursday 12pm-8pm

·         Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field

·         1 year experience in the drug and alcohol field

·         Must obtain CADC within 5 years

·         Funding Source: TASC/Diversion

 

Clinical Supervisor-2 Positions

·         Full-Time

·         Lancaster Site

·         Master’s degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling or a related field of study and full certification as a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC) or certified co-occurring disorder professional (CCDP) in the state of Delaware or by a nationally recognized organization in addictions counseling; OR

·         Bachelor’s degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling or a related field of study and five (5) years of documented clinical experience in the substance abuse treatment field

·         Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) helpful

·         Funding Source: Med Meth

 


Community Wellness Advocate

·         Fulltime

  •  Provide HIV Counseling and Testing, group delivered risk reduction and education sessions, at treatment programs in respective counties.
  • Work schedule : 4 days (9am-5pm), 1 evening weekly (12pm-8pm)
  •  Criminal background check required, however a conviction may not necessarily disqualify a candidate
  • 2 years experience in field of addictions and, or mental health, professionally or as a peer (in recovery)
  • Knowledge of health promotion, public health practices, disease prevention, healthcare systems and/or harm reduction models preferred
  • Funding source: REACH (HIV Prevention)

 

Counselor-Alpha (2 Positions)

·         Full-Time

·         Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field

·         1 year experience in the drug and alcohol field

·         Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

·         CADC/CCDP preferred

·         Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) helpful

·         Funding Source: Alpha


Counselor – Lancaster

·                          Core Department

·                           Full-Time

·                           Work hours: Monday-Friday, 5am-1pm; One evening night from 12pm-8pm

·                           BS/BA or a minimum of 40 credits in related field required

·                           Prior counseling experience required

·                           CADC/CCDP preferred

·     Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) helpful

·                          Funding Source:  Med Meth

Medical Case Manager

  • Full-Time
  • Supporting both Newark and Lancaster sites
  • Currently licensed as a LPN
  • Two years experience in human services field, prior work with a behavioral health population a plus
  • Knowledge of health promotion and wellness
  • Knowledge of public health practices, disease prevention, and healthcare systems
  • Funding Source: Med Meth


Nurse

·                                          Per-Diem

·                                          LPN or RN

·                                         Working hours: Occasional weekends 5:30am-10:30am

·                                        Current licensure required

·                                        Experience with methadone or narcotic administration preferred

·                                         Funding Source: Med Meth


Nurse

·         Full-Time

·         LPN or RN

·                             Current licensure required

·         Experience in the field of drug and alcohol or related field preferred

Program Manager-Alpha

·         Full-Time

·         Master’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or other related field

·         Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a treatment capacity required

·         CADC/CCDP required

·         Work hours: Monday-Friday; 8am-4:30pm, on call for staffing needs at times

·         Funding Source: Alpha


Security Officer

·         Part-Time

·         Newark and Lancaster Sites

·                              High school graduate or equivalent required

·         Work hours: Saturdays 6am-10am; Rotating weekends between Newark and Lancaster Sites

·         Funding Source: Med Meth


Senior Outreach Worker

·         Full-Time

·         AS degree in Human Services or related field preferred

·         GED/High School Diploma required

·         Pass urine drug screen

·         Spanish speaking preferred

·         At least 2 years of related experience

·         2 years sobriety/recovery

·         Work hours: Monday-Friday; primarily 9am-5pm but will include some early evenings (ie: being at a site until 8pm for oversight or in the event of a call out)

·         Funding Source: DPH


 

KENT & SUSSEX COUNTIES

 

Resident Manager

·                                    Per-Diem

·                                     Ellendale Women and Children’s Residential Treatment Program (Lighthouse Site)

·                                     Work hours: 30 hours per week, weekends and holidays included; Sundays 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, Saturdays 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm

·                                        High school graduate or equivalent required

·                                        Human services/behavioral health/ mental health experience required

·                                         Prior residential experience preferred

·                                         Funding source: Residential
