5 Questions: Meet the Alpha Staff
|
Outpatient Counseling
-
Professionally administered counseling for
individuals, their families or significant others, or groups that impact the
client.
-
Initial screening and assessment identifies
major areas of concern so that we may assist clients in these areas.
Variety of support groups treat substance abuse in
specialized ways, so that clients may
choose a group that best suits their needs. Among these are life skills,
relapse prevention, and gender-specific.
Our services work closely
with Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and other similar programs
to help clients establish close ties with the self-help community.
Intensive
Outpatient Program
-
The Alpha IOP offers continued care for any
patient aged 18 and over who requires mental and or substance abuse
counseling in an intensive outpatient setting.
-
Intensive Outpatient services provide a higher
level of care that helps these patients set and work toward their goals for
recovery. They attend group counseling for 3 hours, 3 days a week, and also
have increased individual counseling.
-
BCI staff selects appropriate candidates for the
program based on consistent attendance, effort in previous treatment
programs, medical approval, and compliance with other agency requirements.
-
Since its introduction in 2009, the IOP Program
has helped several long-time drug users provide their first ever negative
drug screen and achieve significant success in sobriety.

Our ASI
approved assessors administer the
